10-Day Silent Meditation Retreat

Sulzberg, Germany

May 29th - June 7th, 2026

Retreat Overview

Welcome to the Elephant Dharma annual retreat in Europe. This is a 10-day meditation retreat held in Noble Silence, where we will disconnect from technology, connect with our practice, and go deep into meditation.

The schedule is primarily devoted to seated and walking meditation but also includes evening Dharma talks, one-on-one teacher interviews, and optional daily time for “Noble Noise”—a group interview for integration and connection with other practitioners.

This annual retreat with Dr. Tucker Peck and Upasaka Upali began in 2016. You will find yourself among a vibrant community of meditators with a wide range of interests and experience in meditation and Dharma practice.

The retreat is offered on Dana, the Pali word for generosity, which means it’s offered at cost. Tucker and Upali offer their support and teachings out of generosity, so we invite you to support their teachings by offering Dana if you're able.

Pricing

The cost includes full room and board, and covers retreat center rental and facilities expenses.

Travel to and from the retreat center is not included, but carpooling will be organized.

The cost also does not include Dana for Tucker & Upali’s teachings (explained below). If cost is prohibitive, you can apply for a scholarship through the Open Dharma Foundation.

Shared Room (3-4 person): 1065 €

Double Room (2 person): 1175 €

Single Room: 2055 €

Dietary Restrictions: 62.50 €

This includes nut allergies, lactose intolerance, gluten free.

Housing

Pictured here are a few of the shared options.

Dana

The retreat is offered on Dana (a Pali word meaning generosity), which means the registration prices cover only the cost of accommodation and meals, not the teachings.

Tucker & Upali teach on Dana to be generous with their Dharma teachings and to ensure access to the retreat for all who are interested.

Schedule

Here is an example of the schedule from previous retreats.

While the schedule is meditation-intensive, all meditation sessions are optional, and you are welcome to begin and end your day according to a sleep schedule that works for you.
